Stashbusting!

Ok I have way too much stash and I really want to divest of a major portion of it.

Here are some pics:

I am having a real hard time deciding what to keep and what to try to sell or giveaway and then if I try to sell what should I ask?
Here are some pics of what I want to get rid of tomorrow. These are all unused skeins mainly Red Heart acrylic, some bulky acrylic, and some old Dazzleaire. there is also some high end yarns that I only have a skein or two of - should I group them together by color and if so how many skeins and what price?

One piece of good news, is that I have found the yarn in my stash for the next Sexy Knitters Club project - Tempting II - I am looking forward to this project as it will actually be made for me!

Very busy weekend. My son came home Friday night to go to a family reunion. From there, we were on a non-stop whirl. Saturday morning we went to WWKIP day at my local yarn store. That is my son in the baseball hat knitting!

We were going to knit in the parking lot, but it was pouring rain so we knitted inside. Check out these cool bears knitted by one of the ladies in my group.
The shop had some great sales going on but I resisted due to my Summer of Stash diet, but I did buy an Inox needle for Flirty and a buckle to make Tempting II for the Sexy Knitters Club knitalong starting July 1 - now to find some stash yarn to make it.
However my son did buy me some furry yarn to make his half-brother the bear out of the Knitters' Stash book and 1 lonely skein of baby yarn at our local Meijer's that was have 1/2 off all clearance yarn. I am not going to count this as stash enhancement due to the fact the yarn is for a gift and I will be gifting my son with some of my stash soon to make up for the baby yarn.
We then went to my family reunion, where we visited and I knitted. I was able to offer some advice to my aunt who is planning on knitting socks about knitting the first couple of rounds on dpns on a table or pillow. I hope she tries real soon!
That night I took my son to see the movie "Cars." It was a great movie for the whole family and we both enjoyed it.
On Sunday, we surprised my son with tickets to the Reds game. He had no clue until we pulled into the parking garage and I handed him the tickets (actually, he was busy knitting in the back seat at the time.) The baseball shirt was actually in his bag in the trunk until we got parked.
Here are the pictures from the ball park.

And I did knit at the game.

Amazing Lace update

It has been a few days, partially because after frogging down to the lifeline, I decided to vacuum......and got too close to my knitting. The results were not pretty

The bag is now firmly closed when not actively working on Flirty. And I have pushed past the unpleasant episodes.

It is a beautiful pattern.

My machine knitting meeting got canceled but I am looking forward to it being rescheduled. I will master my machines soon!

Summer of Stash and StashALong
One of my goals was to either frog or complete what was on the needles so I gathered all UFOs and came up with this pile.

Which was quickly reduce to this

Have a busy couple of weeks coming up
This weekend my 17-year old son is coming home for a family reunion (I haven't seen him since January) so I am very excited.
Saturday, June 10 is Worldwide Knit in Public Day. Direct link to my local WWKIPDAY
I plan on going early and then going to the family reunion. Also have plans to take my son on Saturday to see the movie "Cars." Then we have tickets to see the Reds play the Cubs on Sunday. Luckily I have Monday and Tuesday off to recover.

On Monday 6/19 is the Dayton Knitting Guild's Indoor Picnic and Yarn-Over Sale. It is also an all day knit-in.
I am planning to try to sell a little of my stash and donate some towards the guild's many charitable projects.
